ABOUT US

The Stonehenge Chamber of Trade (SCoT) is a prominent organisation within the community, it consists of over 70 businesses with an aim to support and promote each other. We have a calendar of networking events, many of them social as well as more formal introduction events.  There really is something to suit everyone, whether it’s a breakfast meeting, quiz night or The Gala dinner.

  

Social events allow us the opportunity to raise funds to support local good causes and introduce more community events which in turn helps raise the profile of the Chamber and to encourage community spirit.  This is something that can only happen with the support of local businesses. In 2023 we raised approximately £4,000.00 which has gone in some form back into the community whether by charitable donations or contributing towards advertising and promotions of the Chamber members eg; on the back of Santa’s sleigh or the Easter Bunny that has become a Chamber tradition since April 2020.

 

In addition, for those with retail outlets we have previously run the successful Shop Local scheme, this is currently being re-designed due to a number of our members having their own loyalty cards.  Details will be announced once finalised in due course.

 

VisitAmesbury.Org was planned to go live in March 2020 providing a central directory of events, and places to eat and stay to help promote tourism in the local area, this will be launched later in the year now that Amesbury proudly hosts the History Centre.

 

There is a reason for all local businesses no matter how small to join the Stonehenge Chamber of Trade.
