On the 2nd October 2014, the Amesbury Area Board is hosting an important health focused event at Woodford Village Hall, Middle Woodford.
This meeting will focus on health care in Wiltshire and what this will mean to you and during the afternoon from 3pm-6pm will include a health MOT, health advice, healthy eating giveaways and free 7 day leisure centre membership. In the evening there will be a Health focused Area Board meeting from 7pm–9pm
Please come along and bring your family and friends to this informative event. Starting from 3pm, the event organisers will be working closely with the local primary school to provide leisure activities for young families, and with other local agencies to provide informative activities for the elderly.
Healthy lifestyles and dementia will be two of the main themes of the event.
Many organisations and local agencies are intending to exhibit at this event, and they will provide a backdrop to a number of different workshops and fun activities.
In the evening, the board will sit from 7pm. The agenda will kick off with a very important presentation from the Leader of the Council and from the Director of Public Health, concerning the future of health care in this county.
