Chamber Chair Changes

The Stonehenge Chamber of Trade AGM was held this evening and alongside the usual business of reports and re-electing officers and committee members the Stonehenge Chamber of Trade also saw a change of Chairperson.

Outgoing Chair Jim Johnston who had served nearly two years in the chamber’s chairperson role thanked his committee for their support during his time in the position and encouraged the members to move forward with the tasks currently being undertaken by the chamber and its committee especially the Amesbury BID which was in its infancy but would certainly benefit Amesbury and the community as a whole once established.

Jim Johnston handed over the chain of office to Bruce Eyre, previously a highly active member of the Stonehenge Chamber committee with the role of the chamber shop local officer and liaison, Bruce Eyre in turn thanked Jim Johnston for his work and dedication to the causes of Stonehenge Chamber of Trade.

The role of Shop Local officer and liaison passes to Paul Leighfield who will be assisted by John Richardson.
